NHRA Pro Mod racing will air on FOX Sports’ FS1 and FS2 television networks in 2017, NHRA officials said Tuesday.

NHRA Pro Mod logoFS2 will televise a half-hour of racing on Thursdays during primetime, and FS1 will re-air the broadcasts multiple times after.

NHRA J&A Service Pro Mod Drag Racing Series events will also air in Canada and throughout the Caribbean on FOX Sports Racing, and TV service subscribers everywhere will be able to use mobile devices to stream races live via the FOX Sports GO app.

The Pro Mod class features a mix of historic and late-model muscle cars with more than 3,000 horsepower. These suspended door cars make under-six-second passes and reach speeds north of 250 miles per hour.
