When we first heard about the Pumpkin Run Nationals, we thought it was some sort of crazy 5K run or marathon—or something scary like that. And then we realized the Pumpkin Run Nationals actually involves strolling along at a nice leisurely pace while looking at thousands of hot rods and customs.

2,500-plus hot rods instead of 26-plus miles of running? We’ll make that trade any weekend.

We headed down to the Pumpkin Run Nationals to enjoy everything southwest Ohio’s largest car show had to offer—thousands of vintage cars and trucks, model car contests, Hot Wheels drag racing, dance contests, music, and more. After covering the show and snapping pictures all weekend, we almost felt like we had run a marathon.

That counts, right?
