LAS VEGAS, NV–Mickey Thompson introduced its new Deegan 38 Wheel line this morning with the help of Brian Deegan.
Deegan, a motocross legend and the 2013 Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Pro Lite champion, joined the Mickey Thompson press conference at the SEMA Show to talk about racing, his future, and the wheels and tires that bare his name.
“I thought I’d really like to make a name in this sport,” Deegan said. “And I feel like putting out the tire really helped that.”
Mickey Thompson introduced the Deegan 38 tire line at SEMA last year, and today rolled out the Deegan 38 wheel line to be available in 2015.
The wheels will debut with two styles – the Pro 2 Black and Pro 4 Black. They’re available for street truck, SUV and Jeep.
“We worked with Brian to design a unique line of wheels that will become part of the next generation of Deegan 38 products,” said Ken Warner – Vice President of Marketing for Mickey Thompson – in the company’s press release. “These wheels are tough, stylish and functional. The pop-top center cap makes it simple for manual 4×4 owners to lock down the hubs without removing the center cap.”
The Deegan 38 Pro 4 wheel is race–inspired, featuring an eight-spoke design with a two-stage matte black finish and the Deegan 38 logo on the center cap. The heavy-duty wheel will be available in 15- to 17-inch fitments.
The Deegan 38 Pro 2 features a multi-dimensional eight-spoke design with a two-stage matte black finish and the Deegan 38 logo on the center cap. The Pro 2 will be available in 15- to 20-inch fitments.
Both wheels will carry a limited lifetime warranty and a one-year warranty on the finish.
