A variety of tools are needed for the job, including:
- Hammer
- Center punch
- Drill
- 1/8″ (or 3mm) drill bit
- 1/2″ (or 12-13mm) drill bit
- Tape
- Round file (under 1/2″)
- Small flat file
- Hacksaw
- Bench vise
- Marking pen
- Tape measure
- 5/16″ hex key
- Oil receptacle
- Thread locker
- Paper towels
- Gloves
- Safety glasses
