Salt Lake City World of Wheels
I don’t think I will ever understand the “GIANT” rims that are being put on cars now. If it is done to clear larger disc brake setups is one thing but it in my opinion its gotten way out of hand. I am not by myself. They look like roller skates is one comment I have heard, they don’t match the wheel opening, and more. there is no way that they can handle and drive safely. I am an older guy and I guess I will never understand. In my book they are distracting and pulls the eye away from the rest of the car. And how these cars are winning awards such as “The Riddler” is way beyond me. Chip and the others should be ashamed. For short; they look stupid and the bikes That can’t be safe. Its not a “HOT WHEEL”.
This has been a pet peeve of mine for years. I’m thinking any muscle car with wheels bigger than 18″ (and that’s my extreme limit) and any 40 series or smaller sidewall tire should be outlawed and the owners kicked in the nuts once for each infraction. That’s just my opinion though, I may be wrong.
