I live by the beach and my rims are scratched up from salt and sand. Will this fill in the scratches or show through the Plasti dip?
Tim, this applies in a pretty thick coat and multiple coats should definitely fill in scratches.
Nice presentation. Is this durable?
I also would like to blacken my Chrome? Can you do a
How to on blacking chrome?
Thanks
Jim, I don’t know that we’d go off-roading with Plasti-Dipped wheels, or anywhere you’d be scraping rocks, but it does seem pretty durable for the street. We’ve seen different reviews ourselves, but we’ll soon be able to make our own observations based on how our wheels hold up. It’s only been a few weeks but so far, so good. As far as grilles and other accessories, we’ve heard only positive reviews.
