FAST rolled out its new new XFI Sportsman Blow-Through Supercharger EFI System at the 2015 SEMA Show last month, and we took a closer look.
The blow-through carburetor replacement system replaces your carburetor with an easy-to-use EZ-EFI 2.0 throttle body. It includes a FAST throttle body, XFI Sportsman ECU, and additional sensors and parts.
The manifold also does not need to be changed. FAST says it supports up to 1,000 horsepower and 15 pounds of boost, which makes it twice as powerful as any other single throttle body blow-through product currently on the market.
From FAST’s press release:
Blow-through applications that are traditionally carbureted now have the option to utilize an EFI setup.
The FAST™ XFI Sportsman™ Blow-Through Supercharger EFI System replaces the carburetor commonly found on supercharged applications with an easy-to-install EZ-EFI 2.0 throttle body. It supports up to 15 psi of boost and 1000 horsepower at the crankshaft on gasoline, making it twice as powerful as any other single throttle body blow-through product on the market. The system features a wideband 02 sensor and fuel pressure sensors for precision tuning ability and closed-loop air/fuel ratio control. Internal Datalogging also provides recorded data to be used when tuning for maximum performance. It does so utilizing the included C-Com software which allows adjustments with a PC. The FAST™ XFI Sportsman™ Blow-Through Supercharger EFI System provides more performance and reliability, improved gas mileage, is safer for the engine, and is more easily tuned than a carbureted option.
