Time is an amazing thing. In the year 2016, most of the crew at OnAllCylinders can look back on the 1990s in much the same way our parents always celebrated the ’70s. And thank God they did, or we wouldn’t be here, amirite?
The ’90s diversified the great driving song offering into several musical genres. We nominated some of them. Maybe you like one of the other thousand excellent choices from the decade which defined our youth.
What makes a song a good driving song? The music? The lyrics? Good memories of driving around while listening to it?

The songs used to be good, but now they don’t do anything decent. At least, I think so. Most likely, if I had been born at a different time, it seems to me that I would have spoken differently in this case. I read about electronic music not so long ago, and much more work is being done, but still, it seems to me that there is a lot of excess in this music…
