Currie Enterprises founder and father of modular rear-end assemblies Frank Currie passed away last week in California. He was 87.
Retired from the day-to-day operations of Currie Enterprises since 1985, Frank Currie spent the past 30 years doing what he loved most — building hot rods and off-road machines.
His contributions to hotrodding, off-roading, rock crawling, land-speed racing, vintage rally racing, and the automotive aftermarket cannot be overstated.
You can read more about Currie’s life in this excellent post from Hemmings.
