You’ve probably heard about the 2017 Camaro ZL1.
By most accounts, though, Chevrolet caught everyone off-guard by unveiling a convertible version of the ZL1 at the New York Auto Show. The drop-top essentially combines all the features of the ZL1 coupe with a removable roof. This includes the supercharged 6.2L V8, which churns out 640 horsepower and 640 ft.-lbs. of torque, and the buyer’s choice of a 6-speed manual or 10-speed automatic tranny. According to Chevrolet officials, performance figures are expected to be very similar between the coupe and convertible.
