A parking lot is a parking lot is a parking lot—unless it’s the Summit Racing parking lot. On any given day or time, the lot outside a Summit Racing store can turn into an impromptu mini car show, depending on who’s stopped by the store. On Wednesdays, we’ll share our parking lot find of the week—another benefit of being Powered by Summit Racing Equipment.
The sun is shining. The birds are chirping. And hot rods are ruling the streets once again.
This legend showed up recently in the parking lot of the Summit Racing retail store in Tallmadge, OH, and it’s fitting that we kick off another season of Lot Shots with it.
The 1932 Ford is THE ultimate hot-rodder, as it pretty much got the whole thing started when Ford gave us the first V8 Flathead tucked inside the ’32 Model 18.
The owner of this hot rod swapped the engine, gave it a classic hot-rod makeover, and some little touches of hot-rod attitude, which you can see for yourself in the slideshow gallery above.
So, here’s to summer, ladies and gentlemen. Happy hot-rodding.
