The gang at Bangshift outdid themselves with this one.
After Canadian photographer Bob Boudreau shared with the Bangshift team a bunch of early 1970s photos he took at New England Dragway in Epping, NH; he mentioned that he also had a stash of unpublished photos from the 1973 NHRA Summernationals from Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ.
“We cried for joy and then asked him to send us the photos,” Editor-in-Chief Brian Lohnes wrote.
Some of you may have been children in the stands at these events, as one guy said in the comments beneath the BangShift gallery.
