Former K&N Engineering Inc. CEO Steve Rogers is the new president of Torrance, CA-based Edelbrock, the company announced this week.
“Our Board of Directors, along with Vic Edelbrock Jr., invested a lot of time in finding the right person to lead Edelbrock into the future, and we believe Steve is the right person for the job,” said Edelbrock CEO John Colaianne, in this article from Engine Builder magazine.
This news comes on the heels of Vic Edelbrock Jr.’s passing on June 9. Vic was an influential and historically iconic figure in the development of performance automotive parts.
Rogers told Engine Builder he would do everything in his power to support the legacy of high-quality parts built by Edelbrock Jr. and his father, Vic Edelbrock Sr.
“I’m very excited to be joining the Edelbrock family and I look forward to helping the company continue to evolve and grow,” Rogers said. “I am truly blessed and humbled to have this opportunity to work with one of the premier brands that helped to define the performance automotive aftermarket.”
