Earlier this month, Chevy pulled the wraps off its new Corvette ZR1. (You can read more about it here.)
But what if you want the wind-in-your-hair pleasure of a convertible?
Well, Chevy’s got you covered with a soft-top version of its tire-blistering halo car.
Unveiled this week, just prior to the LA Auto Show, the new ragtop is the first convertible version of the Corvette ZR1 since the original 1970-72 edition.
According to this press release from Chevrolet, the new Corvette ZR1 convertible boasts similar performance specs to the hardtop—though Chevy concedes that the convertible top may limit its top speed to a measly 200+ mph.
Chevy also announced a $123,995 price tag for the ragtop. Standard ZR1 coupes are a mere $119,995.
What you’ll spend replacing lost hats is yet to be determined.
