Owners and fans of custom hot rods, restored classics, and modern performance descended on the CenturyLink Center in Omaha, NE last weekend for the 63rd-annual Omaha World of Wheels.
And for the 63rd-consecutive year, the Nebraska leg of the 2018 edition of the Summit Racing Equipment Show Car Series didn’t disappoint.
Want proof that Omaha knows how to hot-rod? Sure you do.

Do you have any other pics of.the 2018 show in Omaha. Saw a paint job I liked but phone was destroyed and lost pics
Hey Brett–we sure do. In fact, we have about 250+ more. We can’t post them all here though…BUT, do you either A) Know what car it was or B) Know what color it was?
If you can give us some direction, we can post some more pics for you, no problem.
Any pictures of a 1969 Hemi Road Runner out of North Platte Nebraska
thank you so much it was a 30s era coupe the paint was a grey and white with a redish pin stripe between them the plaque that was with it said they were mercedes colors thanks again
Hey Brett – Good news. We think we’ve found your hot rod, check out the new picture we just added. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a picture of the plaque, and the lighting in that particular area of the venue wasn’t ideal, so we don’t know if this’ll be enough to go on. Good luck!
thank you so much it really helps
That’s it! I’m trying to find the name of the paints used on that car. Is there any way you would know the owner of the vehicle so I could ask him…I believe the plaque said the paint was Mercedes but can’t remember the exact colors. Dont’ know if he was local or on the circuit. Thanks for you help!
The plaque on its fender reads “Midwest Street-Rod Association” and there’s a Nebraska chapter. There’s a “contact us” page on their website, perhaps you could reach out to them?
Looking lot photos of the mad max police car that was at the show. I had the photos on my phone but it post it’s memory and would like a photo of the car
Do you have any pics of a purple 1949 merc convertable with a white Carson top and the trojan ghosted on the sides of the hood owned by Kim Johnson of Council Bluffs? This is one of many rides I have had the privilege to work on . Thanks all of my auto photos have been stolen
