Ben Kahan of Four Speed Films recently teamed up with Aldan American to produce a full feature installation of Aldan’s Road Comp Series Suspension kit being installed in his 1965 Ford Mustang.
This 1965 Mustang has a small block 289, T4 4-speed, and had factory style suspension front and rear. This classic Mustang is also Ben’s daily driver.
Looking to get the most from his Mustang’s suspension without having to heavily modify the chassis, Aldan American had the solution. Properly lowering the front end with adjustable coilovers and improving the rear ride quality with adjustable shocks was the primary goal of this suspension update.
Aldan American has been manufacturing coilovers made here in the U.S.A. over three decades. Aldan’s newest line of Road Comp Series suspension kits include everything needed to bolt on adjustable coilovers and shock absorbers in a matter of hours.
In the installation video below, Ben takes us through the step by step how to, of installing Aldan American front coilover conversion with rear shock kit, part # 300124, on his classic Mustang.
You don’t have to do an alignment if you do not replace any of the steering components and keep the same ride height.
I’m no longer positive the place you are getting your information, however great topic.
