Congress recently created the $15B Shuttered Venue Operators Grant (SVOG) program to provide financial relief to live entertainment and performing arts venues—like theatres, concert halls, zoos, and museums. The program is designed to help businesses hit particularly hard by COVID-related shutdowns.
Problem is, despite being venues that provide live entertainment, racetracks are not eligible to receive these grants.
That’s where you come in.
SEMA has formed a coalition in partnership with other groups that were left out of the SVOG program to advocate for Congress to create a grant program for recreation, sports, and amusement live venues.
