When Summit Motorsports Park, then Norwalk Raceway, opened in 1974, it had 800 seats. Since then, it’s grown into “America’s Racetrack” with over 30,000 seats under the ownership of the Bader family. As a child and teenager, Bill Bader, Jr. performed every possible task at the track in route to taking over as owner. And he seems to have the recipe for putting on the most entertaining events in drag racing–and beyond. What goes into planning the events? What are some of his craziest memories? Well…listen in!
