While July 8th is the official Collector Car Appreciation Day for 2022, there are plenty of other events going on through the entire month of July. And with the help of SEMA, we’ve got a state-by-state breakdown of what’s happening, and when.

Collector Car Appreciation Day is your chance to get in your vintage, classic, or otherwise awesome vehicle and drive it—and hopefully inspire some future gearheads along the way.
Want to learn more? Check out the Collector Car Appreciation Day page over at SEMA’s website.
A list of some of the automotive-related events can be found on Summit Racing’s calendar, and check out what else is happening below.
If you see any event we missed, drop it in the comments section at the bottom of this post too.
So you’re saying the state that has the motor city in it is not hosting a car collector event.
I see you missed one SummitRacing is sponsoring. Summit Racing Presents the 24th PPG Nationals at the Ohio Expo Center and State Fairgrounds. July 8-10.
Hey Michael–We didn’t include it in the table above because it’s not directly tied to Collector Car Appreciation Day, but you can find a list of all the Summit Racing-sponsored events here.
And we’ll see you in Columbus this Friday, fingers crossed for dry weather!
I see Indiana doesn’t have anything going as to Collector Car Appreciation Day..seems that we “Hoosiers” need to get our state government informed of this historic event..as we have had many historic car marques built in Indiana…Studebaker,Auburn, Cord, Duesenberg, Elcar, Hummer…as examples..
