Spend much time stomping around the show car circuit, and you’ll discover that an LS engine swapped in an older vehicle is pretty commonplace these days.
But swap a 6.0L LS into an old-school 1964 Ford F-100, top it off with a vintage camper shell, and slam it to the ground?
…Yup, that’ll get our attention.
And the Summit Racing video folks apparently agree. They spotted this delightfully patina’d Ford truck at the 2023 Detroit Autorama and had to swoop down to talk to its owner.
Turns out, it’s a father and son build, and great lengths were taken to bring this retro ride up to 21st-century performance without upsetting its nifty vintage aesthetic.
