Now the Summit Racing video folks are going one step further to show you how to assess a classic project car before you open your wallet.
And better yet, they brought in car builder and YouTube Star Robby Layton to help.
Using Robby’s recently-acquired 1957 Chevy barn find as a test subject, the team goes through and evaluates the condition of the car’s frame, body, mechanicals, and other key facets to show you what can make or break a sale.
More importantly, Robby explains some qualifying factors that influence the assessment as well: Will it be a nut-and-bolt restoration? Do you plan on future upgrades? Are you building a restomod?
