The annual NHRA FallNationals near Dallas, Texas marks the third-to-last race in the NHRA championship series. And now that the smoke is clearing after the “Stampede of Speed” this past weekend, one class got some more separation—while all the others got much more interesting.

So let’s see how it all stands with two races to go in this week’s NHRA Wrap-Up.

2023 NHRA FallNationals Top Fuel Results

Leah Pruett is peaking at the right time, so it was no surprise to see her facing off against another top competitor in Steve Torrence during the finals in Texas. But Pruett dashed to a 3.684 second, 330.47 mph pass on Sunday, topping the 3.662 @ 333.09 from Torrence.

The win plants Pruett at the top of the Top Fuel points standings for the first time all season—with only two races left in the championship.

2023 NHRA FallNationals Pro Stock Results

Both Dallas Glenn and Erica Enders have been vying for the top spot in Pro Stock during the latter half of the season, so there was a lot on the table when the two met in the finals on Sunday. Enders cut the quicker light and dashed to a 6.469 second, 211.55 mph to best Glenn’s 6.493 @ 210.40. Enders continues in the number one slot, with Glenn moving up to third, with Greg Anderson lurking at number two.

The win is also Enders’ 47th, which means she is now the winningest female driver in motorsports history, congratulations!

2023 NHRA FallNationals Funny Car Results

It was a thrill to see John Force in the final round on Sunday, but it was Matt Hagan who got the Wally in Funny Car in Texas. Despite cutting the faster light, Force lost the back end of the car about halfway through the run and had to let off, allowing Hagan to bolt to a 3.883 second 332.25 mph victory.

While Force moved into the top five, the win put Hagan atop the Funny Car standings, with Bob Tasca III and Robert Hight close behind.

2023 NHRA FallNationals Pro Stock Motorcycle Results

While some of the classes are tightening up, Gaige Herrera is widening his lead in PSM. In a reprise of the last race at the Midwest Nationals, Herrera found himself facing Eddie Krawiec again on Sunday. The two ran a close race, but it was Herrera who got the win with a 6.644 second 203.30 mph run to top Krawiec’s 6.706 @ 202.56.

Herrera remains in the number one spot in the Pro Stock Motorcycle ranks.
