LAS VEGAS, NV — We’re back on our feet for the third day of the 2023 SEMA show and it’s showing no signs of slowing down. We made our way across the massive Las Vegas Convention Center complex to scour the off-roading and truck booths, where we got to see everything from a Suzuki Jimny to a Jeepster Commando. Scroll the photos and you’ll get a good idea of how impressive the truck and car diversity is at this event.

It’s been almost a year since the tragic passing of Ken Block, and tributes to the legendary icon of the gearhead community were everywhere throughout the event. We spent some extra time at the Hoonigan display—where his fabled Hoonicorn Mustang was front-and-center. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
Behold Hoonigan’s 1983 Subaru GL wagon, affectionately dubbed “The Family Huckster.” With Travis Pastrana behind the wheel, it was the star of Gymkhana 2022 . (Image/OnAllCylinders)
Speaking of Family Huck…err…Truckster, there were actually two of these tribute wagons at the event. The first one we saw yesterday , and it depicted the start of the voyage. Conversely, this one was more of an “after” version—complete with Aunt Edna and the plain steel wheels. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
You can certainly include the Suzuki Jimny on the list of awesome vehicles that we don’t get here in the United States. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
There were plenty of new next-gen 2024 Mustangs on the scene as well. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
Perhaps we should include this in our First Responders Photo Gallery ? (Image/OnAllCylinders)
We spotted a trio of uber-rare Jeeps in the dedicated off-road hall at the show. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
This 1978 Cherokee Chief was right alongside the Jeepster above. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
And this was in a nearby booth: an FC made into a hardcore overlanding rig. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
On the more modern side, the Jeep Gladiator is an increasingly popular choice for the overlanding crowd. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
Or for the Blue Oval brigade, new Broncos were all over the place too. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
And it wasn’t just the domestics representing either, Land Rovers are a charter member of the overlanding club. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
After introducing the Toyota Supra Funny Car last year, we’re tickled to see a scaled-down version for the Jr. Dragster ranks. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
We spotted this 1970 Charger in the Hoonigan display too. Look closely—the body is made entirely of carbon fiber. (Image/OnAllCylinders)

We spotted a handful of SRT Demons as well. This one was lurking around the Mickey Thompson display. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
Obligatory. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
We will never not photograph a Honda CB350. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
We can’t tell if this started off life as a C10 truck or K5 Blazer. Anybody got a guess? (Image/OnAllCylinders)
And if you’re into C10 trucks, enjoy. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
The paint mismatch is no mistake here, this nifty Audio wagon is wearing throwback “Harlequin” VW tribute livery. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
One of the earliest Porsche 911s we’ve ever seen; this 1964 example is still identified as a 901, before naming copyright entanglements forced Porsche to switch to 911. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
Located near the automotive art exhibit, this is a vintage Pontiac cut into an RV. And we love it. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
The new Toyota Corolla GR was everywhere at the show. And with a 300 hp AWD powertrain, it’s easy to see why. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
