Visit any classic car, truck, or hot rod show and you’ll soon realize that wheels are getting bigger, with builders installing larger diameter rims to add a dramatic look—and show off the brake and chassis parts behind the spokes.
We couldn’t be happier about that, either.
In fact, when we heard that U.S. Wheel was debuting a new 20 inch wheel line at the 2023 SEMA Show, we made a beeline towards its booth to get a sneak peek.
It’s called the D-Lux Series 402 Wheel and it’s a steel rim with an eight-spoke design. It comes in either gloss black, chrome, or black with a chrome lip—they’re all equally awesome. (White, matte black, and other custom finishes are available by order as well.) U.S. Wheel is also making this new wheel in a handful of different bolt patterns too, so it’ll fit a range of vehicle/axle applications. Better still, you can add specialized center caps and trim rings for an even more striking statement.
The U.S. Wheel folks told us that, though the D-Lux wheel is initially only available in a 20 inch diameter, they plan to introduce other sizes soon too.

We were joined at the U.S. Wheel SEMA booth by our pals over in the Summit Racing video department, and they were able to grab a full interview to learn all about this new D-Lux Series rim. You can check it out below:
