Cincinnati, Ohio – The annual Cincinnati Cavalcade of Customs is one of our favorite stops on the Summit Racing Show Car Series .
That’s because, beyond being a nice escape from the frigid temperatures outside, the Queen City welcomes a ton of fantastic rides from all across the midwest—we’re talking late model muscle to prewar classics and everything in between.
And since it’s also one of the first major shows in the ISCA season, this particular event is a good chance for us to see what trends, vehicles, and styles will be popular in the coming year.
Check out the photo gallery below and see the full 2024 ISCA event calendar here because there’s a good chance that the Summit Racing Show Car Series is heading somewhere near you in 2024.

In addition to the Adam West-era 1966 Bat-Cycle, the event also welcomed the BatGirl Cycle ridden by actress Yvonne Craig during the original TV series. Both bikes are based on Yamaha models, with the Bat-Cycle derived from a Yamaha Catalina and the BatGirl Cycle from a Yamaha YDS-5E. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
There was an entire Batman display that featured Batmobiles throughout the years—culminating in this fierce rig from the “Batman vs. Superman” movie. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
From bats to another fearsome winged creature—you may appreciate our short history of the Daytona/Superbird twins too. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
We’re glad to see the sport compact/tuner scene continue to gain popularity—this vintage ‘Lude was one of our favorites at the show. (Image/OnAllCylinders)

Behold the coolest windows in automotive history! (Image/OnAllCylinders)
This well-sorted Mister Two had us doing a double take. Yes, it’s a Toyota—but it is right-hand drive and sporting a Ferrari F355-style body kit. The 2014 Lexus 3.5L V6 crammed behind the seats is just icing on the cake here. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
And speaking of Toyota engine swaps, this rad Chrysler Conquest is carrying a turbocharged 1JZ (!!) engine. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
On the European side of the Pond, this 1988 M3 was particularly glorious. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
Or if you prefer Bimmers of the longroof variety, here’s a 1991 325i wagon. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
The British Car Club of Greater Cincinnati always brings a nice array of vehicles to the show as well, this tidy 1972 MG Midget was just the beginning. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
This 1966 Morgan 4/4 is one of the super-rare “Competition” models that featured a louvered butterfly hood and other sport-oriented upgrades. But if you wanted to see a three-wheeler…(Image/OnAllCylinders)
…parked nearby that Concours-spec Morgan was this delightful 1972 Reliant Robin. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
One of the oldest vehicles at the show was this 1911 EMF Racer. We’ve seen this particular car before at recent Cincinnati Concours d’Elegance events . (Image/OnAllCylinders)
There was plenty of classic Detroit muscle on-hand too. This subtly-modded 1972 Dodge Charger was tough to miss. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
And this might be the cleanest 1978 Camaro we’ve ever seen. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
Or, if you prefer earlier second-gen. Camaros, you didn’t have to look far. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
1979 Trans Am has entered the F-Body chat. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
Remember, without the Valiant, the 1960s Pony Car wars might have never happened . (Image/OnAllCylinders)
If this AMC Ambassador is any proof, the “Survivor Alley” section of the show is our favorite place. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
If you’re a fan of Cutlasses (Cutli?), you may enjoy our quick history on the Olds Cutlass here . (Image/OnAllCylinders)
There was a stunning Mazda B2200 on display right as you entered the hall. The sport truck crowd brought its A-game to Cincinnati. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
On the other end of the show truck spectrum is this rowdy V8-powered S-Dime. *Chef’s Kiss* (Image/OnAllCylinders)
If you’re more into the lowrider scene, check out this classic T-bird. We love seeing 1970s-era land barges on airbags. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
Hey, look! It’s the other—OK, other other —Fox Body. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
We included El Camino in our list of Spanish car names. See what else made the roster here . (Image/OnAllCylinders)

Finally, we’ll wrap up the photo gallery with this 2004 Ford Cobra SVT. It was a great show—and we’ll be back. (Image/OnAllCylinders)
