Alright, so the crank is properly seated in the block, and you’re getting ready to start putting together the rest of the rotating assembly. First up, getting the piston rings on the piston.

It’s no secret that LS piston rings use thinner rings than a traditional old-school V8, so you’ve got to take some extra care when slipping them into the ring lands.
