Clarksville, Ohio – Held about an hour away from Cincinnati, the annual Jeep Jam event brings in an amazing array of Jeeps—Wranglers, CJs, Cherokees, Gladiators, buggies, and beyond—for a weekend of off-roading, rock crawling, trail rides, shows, and duck-filled fun.
Suffice it to say, we wouldn’t miss it.

We loaded up the Summit Racing Jeep Gladiator and made the trek down to the event, and were simply gobsmacked by the amount of Jeeps we saw. But more importantly, we were greeted by smiles and waves everywhere we went—Jeepers sure know how to make you feel welcome.
If this sort of thing sounds fun to you, we strongly encourage you to visit the official Jeep Jam website and join the party. The event gets bigger every year, and we’re already making plans to get back down there—once we get the dirt out of our teeth, of course.
Special thanks to Summit Racing’s Tom Yash for snapping plenty of pics of the off-road shenanigans too!

The event kicked-off with a cruise-in, and we made sure to snap a bunch of pics—this was the cleanest these Jeeps would be all weekend. (Image/OnAllCylinders)After Friday, the rest of the weekend was filled with mud and dirt—not a single microfiber cloth or bottle of detailing spray in sight. (Image/Summit Racing – Tom Yash)This well thought-out Wrangler TJ had a nifty louvered hood insert to help vent heat—given the decal on the flanks, this one’s a desert hopper. (Image/OnAllCylinders)The nearby Wilmington Auto Center helped sponsor the event, and its Jeep dealership folks brought out a Wrangler 392 to show off. (Image/OnAllCylinders)This was just a small sample of the hundreds of different rubber ducks we spotted. The Summit Racing gang brought their own too. (Image/OnAllCylinders)Not to go full Dr. Jones here—but perhaps an XJ Cherokee this clean belongs in a museum? (Image/OnAllCylinders)This XJ, on the other hand, had plenty of fun running the off-road course. (Image/OnAllCylinders)This one too. (Image/Summit Racing – Tom Yash)We included the Rubicon on our tour of vehicles named after famous locations. Learn the etymology behind the Rubicon name here. (Image/OnAllCylinders)This tastefully done Wrangler YJ still had its trusty carbureted AMC 258 under the hood. (Image/OnAllCylinders)Better still, the unmistakable exhaust note of this CJ-5 told us it was running the AMC 304 V8. (Image/OnAllCylinders)We’re always happy to see a fancy new Grand Cherokee backing up its Trail Rated badge. (Image/Summit Racing – Tom Yash)This Gladiator rig carried an amazing assortment of overlanding gear. (Image/OnAllCylinders)Another jaw-droppingly clean XJ. …Where are all these beauties hiding in the salt-strewn roads of Ohio? (Image/OnAllCylinders)In addition to organized trail rides, the Jeep Jam staff built a well-executed off-road course using obstacles of ranging difficulty. There were plenty of spotters on-hand too, to help both experts and newbies navigate the terrain. (Image/Summit Racing – Tom Yash)Call us biased, but something about a CJ-5 trail rig just makes us grin, every time. (Image/OnAllCylinders)..Or, if you prefer your CJs in “seven” flavor. (Image/Summit Racing – Tom Yash)Speaking of CJ-7s, we’ll have more on this stunning Renegade here soon. (Image/OnAllCylinders)Our hats are off to the entire crew of the 2024 Jeep Jam. It was an amazing, well-run event, and we’re hoping it brings in even bigger crowds next year. (Image/Summit Racing – Tom Yash)
Paul is the editor of OnAllCylinders. When he's not writing, you'll probably find him fixing oil leaks in a Jeep CJ-5 or roof leaks in an old Corvette ragtop. Thanks to a penchant for vintage Honda motorcycles, he spends the rest of his time fiddling with carburetors and cleaning chain lube off his left pant leg.
