It’s no secret that your ignition system needs to be mounted safely and securely in your engine bay—away from excessive heat and any other under-hood hazards.

And that’s particularly true if you’re running an aftermarket ignition box.

That’s why you’ll want to hear about these new billet aluminum ignition system mounting options from Summit Racing.

Made from a stout block of billet aluminum, the Summit Racing ignition mount bracket gives you a rock-solid reliable way to secure both your standalone ignition box and single ignition coil, all in one spot.

The mount is designed to fit most of the popular ignition boxes (including the common models from MSD and Summit Racing) and will accommodate a single ignition coil like the MSD Blaster SS. Handy recess pockets allow you to easily position the rubber isolation standoff mounts that came with your ignition box too.

The Summit Racing Ignition Box Mounting Bracket will also easily accept common cylindrical (canister) coils with an optional adapter, which we’ll talk about here in a sec.

The mount is made from billet aluminum with a durable anodized black finish. It secures to any flat surface with the included stainless steel hardware.

If you just need a separate mount for your ignition coil, Summit Racing has you covered there too.

For starters, its SUM-01-2650 mount fits the aforementioned common sized coils like the MSD Blaster SS.

Alternatively, the SUM-01-2602 coil mount secures a wide range of typical canister-style coils.

And as an added bonus, this bracket attaches to the ignition mount box described above to adapt it to a cylindrical coil mount, like what you see here:

Again, these coil mount brackets are made from billet aluminum and include the appropriate mounting hardware.

All told, if you need a way to secure your sensitive ignition components in your engine bay—and need it to look dang good in the process—these ignition box and coil mounts are a great way to do it.
