You know that whole “better mousetrap” thing? That’s what the engineers at PRW Power did when they designed these new Sportsman Steel Roller Tip Rocker Arms.

For starters, they’re cast from 4340 chromoly steel, which makes them significantly stronger than a stamped steel rocker.

But more importantly, they feature a revised oiling design which uses a clever deflector shield to divert oil back down onto the rocker—instead of spraying it willy-nilly around the inside of your valve cover. (If you run a high pressure oil pump in your race motor, then you know what we’re talking about here…)

The PRW Power folks say that these Sportsman Steel Roller Tip Rockers handle up to 350 pounds of open spring pressure and are available for a range of applications. Best of all, they’re priced for the Sportsman-level racer, which also makes them an attractive option for anyone building a hot street motor and wants rock-solid valvetrain performance.

Get an up-close look at how that revised oiling system works in the new Sportsman Series Rockers in the video from the 2024 SEMA Show. (And if you want to take your valvetrain up the next level, keep scrolling for details on PRW’s Elite Series Rockers below the video too.)

The PRW Power team also revealed a lineup of Elite Series Rocker Arms at the 2024 SEMA Show too. They incorporate several design enhancements—including improved lubrication—and the Elite Series takes things up another notch with additional upgrades like sorted bearings and ultra-precise machining for laser-tight tolerances.

All told, PRW says these Elite Series Roller Tip Rocker Arms will handle up to 1,000 pounds(!) of open spring pressure, making them a perfect match for the big cam in your high power race motor.
