Ever drive a car with a stiff race-spec clutch on the street? Then your left leg probably tensed up a bit.

That’s why the clutch experts at Advanced Clutch Technology (ACT) developed their clever Mod-Twin modular clutch design. It allows you to swap out individual clutch components based upon whatever type of driving you’re doing.

In other words, it’s a perfect solution for drivers who daily their rides, but do occasional track weekends throughout the year.

Heading to the track? Pull out the sprung hub and plop in a solid one, then grab a strong, grippy race clutch disc and toss that in too. When you’re done, simply put your sprung hub back in, paired with a more street-friendly disc.

Though the ACT folks developed this Mod-Twin tech a while ago, when we stopped by the ACT booth at the 2024 SEMA Show, we found out that they’ve just added an application for owners of late model Camaros.

Watch the video below to see how the modular Mod-Twin system works, then check out the Camaro kit under part number ACL-T1SS-G20. (You can also see all the Mod-Twin Heavy Duty Street applications at Summit Racing here.)
