A while back, we told you about Trick Flow’s Twisted Wedge® 11R 227 Cylinder Heads for the small block Ford. And if those heads piqued your interest, then you’ll probably like what else the Trick Flow folks have up their sleeves.

Check out this R-Series 11R 227 Port-Matched Carbureted Intake Manifold.

If you’ve ever spent hours with a grinder making tiny, tedious adjustments to the ports on an intake manifold, then you already know how much time this intake will save you.

That’s because the Trick Flow engineers already did all the hard, meticulous work for you, by making sure that the ports on this intake will match-up perfectly with the ports on the aforementioned Twisted Wedge® 11R 227 Cylinder Heads.

That smooth transition is critical here, because it ensures optimal flow as the air stream moves from the intake into the combustion chamber. If all-out performance is important to you, then that’s a big, big deal. (Image/Trick Flow Specialties)

Trick Flow says this aluminum single plane intake manifold works best in a 3,500 to 7,500 rpm operating range. It’ll accommodate any typical Holley 4150-style square bore carburetor, and is 6.450 inches high.

As an added bonus, the manifold has bosses cast-in for nitrous nozzles if NOS is in your future.
