The SEMA show returns to Las Vegas, Nevada next week and we’re already getting sneak peeks of some awesome concept vehicles.
For starters, it looks like Jeep is coming out of the gate hot this year with several wild ideas. Take a gander below and let us know what you think.
Jeep Wrangler Overlook SEMA Concept Vehicle
OK, rub your eyes for a second and refocus. What you’re looking at is a three-row Jeep Wrangler.
Jeep added a foot to the Wrangler Unlimited’s body to squeeze in the extra seats, and that wicked-awesome hardtop features a five-inch bumpout for more headroom in the back. It gives off a real retro Land Rover kind of vibe. We love it.
The interior is decked out in Katzkin leather and there’s a fancy flip-up glass sunroof panel over the front seats too.
And since its a Jeep, the Wrangler Overlook’s got a slimmed-down front bumper to improve the approach angle, along with a two-inch lift and 37 inch BFG Mud Terrains. Its rear tailgate features a reinforcement kit to carry a full size spare as well.

Kaiser Jeep M725 SEMA Concept Vehicle
Alright, now we’re talking!
It’s almost tradition that Jeep brings a delightful restomod to every concept party, and this one doesn’t disappoint. Jeep took an original M725 frame, and modified it to fit a coil spring suspension, along with a (gasp!) Mopar 392 HEMI crate engine—backed by a classic 727 TorqueFlite, no less.
And since overlanding is all the range nowadays, the M725 ambulance body has been worked over to include a fold out canopy, pop-up roof, and industrial cabinetry inside.
Even better, they maintained the industrial vibe up front with a spartan, military-looking dash panel and gauge cluster.

Jeep Wrangler 4xe SEMA Concept Vehicle
Jeep made a lot of headlines when it announced the Wrangler 4xe’s plug-in hybrid drivetrain. And they continue to showcase its potential, like in this freshly-prepped SEMA concept vehicle covered in new gear plucked from the Jeep Performance Parts catalog.
For starters, this Wrangler 4xe gets a two-inch lift courtesy of specially-tuned FOX shocks. It also wears Jeep Performance Parts beadlock-capable wheels and 37 inch BFG KM3s. You’ll also notice the Jeep Performance Parts tube doors and enough off-road LED lighting to illuminate LaGuardia Airport.

While these are only concept vehicles, we see plenty of parts from the Jeep Performance Parts mix showcased here. And considering that Jeep often uses these concepts as rolling test mules for future R&D, we’ll likely see some more elements from these SEMA builds get to production—fingers crossed that the Overlook’s hardtop makes the cut!
(Though don’t hold your breath waiting for that M725 to arrive in your Jeep dealer’s showroom.)
