The automotive aftermarket is in an interesting time.
That was evident at the SEMA Show, the aftermarket’s largest trade show and industry gathering. Show mainstays Ford and Chevy were out–at least in a display sense. Ovelanding rigs and electric vehicles were in. Malaise-era vehicles got plenty of love, and new engines like the Ford Godzilla saw new aftermarket support.
As always, there were thousands of new products for hot rods, late models, imports, trucks, Jeeps, SUVs, UTVs–something for everyone, really. And the show vehicles? They were out in full force.
In this episode, the team at Summit Racing tries to make sense of it all. What are the emerging trends? What new parts stood out? How was the show in a post-pandemic (can we call it that yet?) era.
