ProMedia, the company behind the NMRA Ford Nationals and NMCA Muscle Car Nationals just announced that it is stopping production of motorsport events after 2024.

Citing difficulties stemming from the Covid pandemic coupled with several other key factors (including the recent Hurricane Helene), ProMedia made the undoubtedly difficult decision to halt its events at the end of this year.

In the release, the folks at ProMedia made sure to thank the gearhead community surrounding the NMCA and NMRA, including the track partners, sponsors, racers, and fans that made these events so fantastic. The company assures racers that all the NMRA and NMCA class champions will receive their Nitto Tire Diamond Tree World Champion ring, a World Champion Victor award, and a custom-embroidered World Champion jacket.

In addition to ceasing event operations, ProMedia won’t be at the 2024 PRI Show in Indianapolis, Indiana. The company promises to give updates on the NMRA and NMCA via its social media channels throughout the remainder of 2024, and its offices will remain open into December.

We want to give the team behind the NMRA Ford Nationals and the NMCA Muscle Car Nationals a heartfelt thank you for giving us years of incredible and fun racing action. These events will be sorely missed.
