It’s time for another SEMA Show for your friends here at OnAllCylinders. We’ll be scouring the halls and parking lots of the Las Vegas Convention Center to bring you the latest parts, show vehicles, and other automotive weirdness that make the biggest performance aftermarket show in the world so special.

Speaking of vehicles, here are three that we’ll be doing a deep-dive into.

Brand New Muscle Car 1967 Mustang Fastback

David Miller and his team of master craftsmen at Brand New Muscle Car built one of the most iconic Mustangs, a 1967 fastback, to celebrate the Mustang’s 60th anniversary. The car was built from the ground up with a custom chassis, an all-new body shell, a 750 horsepower 427 cubic inch small block Ford backed by a Tremec six-speed transmission; a coilover front and four-link rear suspension; four-wheel disc brakes; and what BNMC calls a ‘scorched candy apple red’ paint job.

If you get the MotorTrend TV channel on your tee-vee, you can watch the entire Mustang build on Brand New Muscle Car: Mustang Restomod.

The show airs Sundays at 9 am EST through December 29, 2024.

Car Buff Network NTP 1970 Chevelle

In 2022, Spencer Campbell and his brother Trent took a radical 1979 Jeep Wagoneer to SEMA. Named Sasquatch, the overland-ready Wagoneer sits on a much-modified Ford Super Duty suspension and is powered by a 392 CID Gen III Hemi backed by a Tremec TR-4050 five-speed and an Advance Adapters Atlas III transfer case. Read all about Sasquatch here.

Now the brothers and Spencer’s son Sawyer have done a complete 180 and built a Pro Touring 1970 Chevelle. With a Procharger-equipped BluePrint Engines 427 CID LS crate engine pumping out 800 horsepower at the crank, the NTP (Nothing to Prove) Chevelle certainly lives up to its name. A track-ready UMI Performance suspension with Bilstein shocks and coilovers, Baer four-wheel disc brakes, and 19-inch Micke Thompson rubber make sure that power is under control. You’ll have to wait for our full story to learn about the rest.

BleepinJeep XJ

If you’re familiar with Matt and Josh over at BleepinJeep, you already know that have a knack for building incredibly capable off-road rigs without spending a whole lot of dough. Their latest is a four-door XJ—as in a 1984 Jaguar XJ6 sedan. Surprise?

The full-on rock crawler is an unholy mashup of Jaaag and an old school Dodge W250 pickup complete with a 12-valve Cummins diesel. It sits on Dana 60 axles with rear coilover and front leaf spring suspensions plus 40-odd-inch tires on beadlock wheels. Oh yeah, it’s a recovery wrecker, too.

We know you’re gonna want to see how Matt and Josh built this thing, so cancel the rest of your day’s plans and head over the BleepinJeep YouTube channel for the build.

Is that all we’re covering vehicle-wise? Heck, no—we’ll be posting plenty more car photos and stories when we get back from Sin City.

Keep checking back for our SEMA Show coverage!
