When it comes to actual racer participation, the NHRA Summit Racing Series is the world’s largest motorsports program.
…And when you see what’s in store for the upcoming season, we don’t expect that honor to be challenged anytime soon.
Here are three of the biggest changes you’ll see in 2025:
- The Eastern Canada Division is now the 8th official division in the Summit E.T. Series—those division winners will now advance to compete for the NHRA Summit Racing Series World Championship in Las Vegas. (This also means there won’t be a wild card entry to fill the eighth spot in each category.)
- The Super Pro class will now move to 1/8 mile competition. (The other classes remain a 1/4 mile.)
- The EV class championships will be crowned at the Divisional level, and will not run in Las Vegas for the National Championship.
Sound good? Check out the guidelines for each class here*, then see the finals schedule below.
* Refer to the current year NHRA Rulebook for all applicable safety requirements in each ET Bracket

The NHRA Summit Racing Series World Championship will take place Oct. 30 through Nov. 2, part of the NHRA Nevada Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
