Everyone’s heart strings are tugged by different things.

Maybe you have a soft spot for cute puppies, Nicholas Sparks novels, or sappy love songs.

Us? We’re moved by great father-son stuff.

Our friends at Summit Racing asked you to share some of the project vehicles put together by father-son tandems. And, as always, you guys responded with some nice stories and nice cars.

Here are a few of the projects:

Steven S. and son

Steven and his son built this car together over the course of a few years. After graduating high school, the son was given the car. Yo. Steven. You adopting?

Major C. and father

Major and his dad built this 1969 Plymouth ‘Cuda together. Nice work, gentlemen.

Joe N. and father (and mom and brother!)

Joe and his family built this 1988 Ford Ranger. Great work, guys.

Ricardo M. and father

Ricardo and his dad are currently working on this gem.

Casey H. and father

Casey and his dad restored this beautiful 1966 Ford Mustang.

Nick S. and father

Nick and his dad built this killer 1971 Dodge Demon, then proceeded to drive it on a 10,000-mile, five-state tour together. Great story, Nick. Cool Mopar, too.

Cody R. and father

Cody and his dad turned this second-gen Camaro into a purpose-built race machine. Cody races it in California.

Jacob H. and father

Jacob and his dad are in the midst of restoring this Camaro. Jacob’s doing some custom scoop work to show his Bowtie pride. We’re super-curious to see what this is going to look like when it’s done. Cool project, guys.

Joshua H. and his father

Josh says his dad helped him build this cool Fox body, even though his father is a Chevy man. Kinda makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, doesn’t it?
