A parking lot is a parking lot is a parking lot—unless it’s the Summit Racing parking lot. On any given day or time, the lot outside a Summit Racing store can turn into an impromptu mini car show, depending on who’s stopped by the store. Each Wednesday, we’ll share our parking lot find of the week—another benefit of being Powered by Summit Racing Equipment.
It’s not often we see a 1941 Plymouth PT125—or any Plymouth truck for that matter. After all, Plymouth was never a huge player in the pickup realm, and they discontinued their early model trucks after 1941.
Plymouth PT125 models, like this one, were offered in 1941 and just over 6,000 were made. That makes this pre-war pickup scarce and fairly collectible these days. It also makes it hard to find parts for the venerable old hauler. In fact, the owner of this particular truck spent four years looking for front-end plating and swapped out the original six-cylinder engine with a Chrysler Firepower HEMI engine.
We have a 1941 PT-125 that has been in storage for over 40 years. How would I find out it’s value, and possible people interested in buying it?
