1970 Chevelle Voted as Your Top Fan Ride of March

The 1970 Chevelle SS wasn’t voted into our Muscle Car Match-Ups championship.

But you did vote Jamie’s Chevrolet Chevelle the Top Fan Ride of March.

Summit Racing’s Facebook page first posted Jamie’s ’70 Chevelle early in the month, and it held throughout as the most “Liked” vehicle of March. When it was reposted in the Top 5 March Fan Rides list, little changed.

And with good reason. Jamie’s Chevelle features a 625-horsepower 475-cubic-inch big block.

“I’ve owned it for 12 years,” he told us. “[It] was a basket case when I purchased it.”

Jamie’s personal mods have turned it into anything but.

“I did everything on the car except paint,” he told us. “I drive it, show it, and race it periodically. It has been a fun build and project.”
