In our OnAllCylinders Reader’s Choice Awards, you named Top Gear BBC as your favorite automotive television show.
Apparently, not everyone is a fan–especially in Argentina.
In a tweet, show presenter Jeremy Clarkson says he and the Top Gear crew were thrown out of Argentina after being pelted with rocks. According to Clarkson, they were filming a segment with a Porsche that happened to have the license plate, H982 FKL. Locals assumed the plate number was a reference to the 1982 Falklands War.
“The number plate WAS a coincidence. When it was pointed out to us, we changed it,” said in a tweet. “Thousands chased crew to border. Someone could have been killed.”
Clarkson said the incident was the most terrifying experience he’s been involved with, pointing out that he’s visited Iraq and Afghanistan.

Love it.
Personally, I don’t feel at all sorry for Jeremy. He’s a loud mouth who finds pleasure in bashing the USA and so many other countries. One of his comments was about the US not even being able to win a war without Great Brittan’s help. After all we did and all the lives sacrificed during WW2, how dare he say something like that. Give me the chance and I will have my hands full of rocks as well.
I’m with you, he insults Americans so frequently I fail to understand why anyone who is an American would give a rats ass about this jerk and why they would watch the show.
I love it too; wish I’d of been there I’ve got a good arm! Honestly I don’t want to see anyone hurt and I’m sure it was very scary and I hope no one was hurt, I just don’t care for JC who seems to think he is JC.
