Word around the Internet campfire is Chevrolet will unveil the 2017 Chevy Camaro 1LE on Thursday, February 11 at the 2016 Chicago Auto Show.

Automotive News reported that Chevy’s newest automotive track star will share the Windy City stage with updated versions of Chevy’s Colorado and Silverado pickup trucks, as well as the Trax subcompact crossover.

The new Camaro 1LE will feature a number of suspension upgrades, the details of which are not yet known. The body will be modified from the SS package, but will share the 455-horsepower, 6.2L LT1 V8 engine.

According to Motor Authority, the 1LE package dates back to 1989 when Chevy was trying to make the Camaro more competitive in the Showroom Stock road racing series.

The 2017 model year is the first time the 1LE package is also being made available to V6-powered Camaros, due to customer demand.
