Chevrolet just unveiled the brand-new 2019 Corvette ZR1 over the weekend.

Judging from the specs, it’s clear that Chevy made sure this Vette lived up to its ZR-1 namesake—a world-class supercar that’s going to draw the attention of folks in both Maranello and Stuttgart.

Under the new Stingray’s carbon fiber hood rests an all-new LT5 engine cranking out 755 horsepower and 715 foot-pounds of torque.

The LT5 boasts a larger supercharger and throttle body than the earlier LT4 which powers the Corvette Z06 and Camaro ZL1, and has an all new dual-injection system.

This new fueling system features both direct injection and supplemental port injection that’s designed to deliver extra fuel during what Chevy calls “power-enrichment moments.” (In other words—when you stomp the fun pedal.)

The 2019 ZR1 is anything but subtle, wearing staggered 19- and 20-inch wheels, an aggressively restyled front fascia, and a carbon fiber supercharger bulge that pops through the hood. The special Stingray also gets a new rear wing that would dwarf a Cessna.

If you’re worried about not being able to find your ZR1 in a crowded parking lot, you can grab the optional ZTK performance package. In addition to revised magnetic ride control shocks and summer-only Michelin tires, you’ll also get an updated front splitter and a higher rear wing.

And if you absolutely, positively want to make sure everyone sees you, check the box for the ZR1’s  Sebring Orange Design Package. It gives you bright orange paint with matching calipers, accent stripes, and special interior with orange stitching.

The new 2019 Chevy Corvette ZR1 will go on sale next spring.

In the meantime, you can check out the press release for more specs, or sign up for updates at the ZR1 section of Chevy’s website.
