The 2018 Summit Racing Equipment Atlanta Motorama, April 28- 29, will feature plenty of top-tier show cars, restomods, hot rods, race vehicles, motorcycles, and cruisers.
…along with the rusting hulk of a 1972 Ford Condor II RV—Cousin Eddie’s “tenement on wheels” movie car from the National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation movie.
This is the actual RV from the holiday favorite, and it will be on display and receiving tours at the 2018 Summit Racing Equipment Atlanta Motorama.
The instantly-recognizable RV was a centerpiece of the much-loved movie starring Chevy Chase as Clark W. Griswold and Randy Quaid as Cousin Eddie. The RV’s current owners meticulously returned it to movie condition, artificially weathering the Condor with plaster and paint to replicate the rust and mud it wore on-screen.
Other 2018 Atlanta Motorama highlights include cars from Truett Cathy’s private collection, the Million Dollar Salon featuring cars from the 1930s, and several of the nation’s best show vehicles—including National Award winners and Great 8 finalists.
The 2018 Summit Racing Equipment Atalanta Motorama is held at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Saturday April 28 and Sunday April 29.
