The folks at Horsepower Wars are pitting a 2017 Ford Mustang GT against a 2017 Chevy Camaro 2SS against in a friendly competition they’ve dubbed “Pony Wars.”
You can see the Pony Wars contest criteria in Episode 1 here and see some of the baseline testing in Episode 2 here.
But before they went to the track for real-world evaluation, each team did some dyno runs to get an idea of the actual power and torque their machines were making.
As it turns out, the LT1-powered Camaro had surprising results.
Check out the video below for detailed analysis of the Camaro’s horsepower and torque curves on the dyno chart.
Keep in mind that the results were from a bone-stock Camaro 2SS, and the team is planing to make significant modifications in an effort to secure victory in the Pony Wars.
