Ford recently unveiled the newest series in its venerable line of F-150 pickup trucks: Tremor.
The F-150 Tremor trucks get an upgraded suspension which will improve their off-road capability. Driveline enhancements like a standard rear locker will help them stay sure-footed when the terrain turns rough.
The Tremor series also boasts external upgrades too, including off-road style running boards, a Raptor-style bash plate, and a unique hood and grill combo.
In fact, a lot of the Tremor-series kit seems to be inspired by the Ford Raptor. And it’s not all visual; these trucks get hardware too, namely a torque-on-demand transfer case similar to the one found in the Raptor. It is designed to merge all-wheel and four-wheel drive for better off-road performance.
Under the hood, all F-150 Tremor models get Ford’s 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine coupled to a 10-speed automatic.
You can get more details on the Ford F-150 Tremor series in the official release from Ford.
